Appearance: Long platinum hair, usually in a pony tail, and a red eye. Her most discerning feature is the scar running down the left side of her face, forehead to jaw, sealing one of her eyes closed and marring her beauty. She has another, similar scar that starts on her left shoulder and continues down that side of her body to her stomach, but the angles of the two are different enough that the wounds were probably done by two separate swings of the same blade. Her casual wear consists of a red t-shirt over a long-sleeved black shirt, a short, black and red plaid skirt, black thigh-high socks and lace-up boots.

Kokoro is a second-year student at Tomiya High. She lives with her younger sister, Kotori, in the residential district. She comes across as a quiet, perhaps even shy girl, a bit selfish around others and yet selflessly devoted to her sister. She is innocent in the truest sense of the word and doesn't seem to understand common human morals very well, preferring instead to act upon emotion and instinct.

She's not all that smart, which is hard to notice due to how little she speaks, but manages passing (if below average) grades in school with her sister's assistance. On the other hand, she's very athletic and has spectacular reflexes. She might look a little frail, but she's rather strong for a girl her age. She's perhaps the most talented member of the kendo club, but doesn't attend very often. She actually doesn't go to school more than two or three days a week, slipping by on minimum attendance. She tends to sleep more than half of her day away.
